Here's looking at you.

So last week I had a cateract removed which was kind of fun, the Dr. just froze my eyeball then took out the old catteractey ( that's a technical term) lens and stuck in a new blue uv lens and I was finished in about 15 min.

I am not supposed to lift anything heavy which makes it awkward when I need a Pee, but it is a good excuse to sit on my ass all day and do nothing. We went to K&W for the weekend then over to C&J's new place where we had a good time laughing it up then all went to supper in Minden for some great food.

It's hard to do nothing for very long. To break it up, on Monday we hung pails in preparation for Maple Syrup time but I suspect that winter is never going to end this year.

On the way home twice we almost hit deer on the road but thanks to my new lens I saw them first. I don't have to drive brail any more.

You'd really think winter isn't goin to end if you saw what it looks like tonight.

There's an extra 6" of snow ... the trails to the pails we hung are barely visible!

Gotta love the white stuff. Tomorrow is supposed to be a whopping +4 in Toronto.

Hello Homee Dad, I'm not sure what unique is supposed to mean but I suspect it refers to how great I am. I suspect that the lifting a heavy load either makes you jealous or you missed the meaning.

Re: maple syrup, the weather gods have not been kind to us, or anybody else in the area, so the sap floweth not.
