More England

The day of the wedding I wanted to go into this house but Jeeves the butler blocked the door, however after some discussion, we came to a financial arrangement.

Here we are resolving our differences
with the aid of a 5lb note.

I was then able to enter the estabishment.

The day before the wedding we were pressed into service at the reception location decorating the room and the layout of each table, which had fortunately been set in place by others. We then arranged the seating locations after which we were allowed to leave.

The day after the wedding we were forced to take down the decorations and carry them out to the waiting service vehicles, take down the tables and put them away, then sweep the floor,
After which we delivered some of the decorations to a designated location at which time we were fed.

In thinking it over it could be that I may have exagerated things a little bit, maybe, just maybe we were NOT EXACTLY forced to do anything maybe we did it because we wanted to.

The fact is we had a wonderful time at the wedding and visiting with Carol & Clive where we freeload for several days.

I forgot to mention the repairs to the door and the wheel bearing in Carol's car but that's another story.
