Yesterday Ellen&Roy, John&Audrey and Dianne came for supper, Wayne has decided that he now wants to live in a Rest Home so has moved out from Dianne's place, so he wasn't here.
It was a great time rehashing all kinds of things we have done over the years which resulted in a lot of laughs. Some of the things were kind of crazy but fun at the time.
One of the crazyest was one time when John and I were swimming in the Trent Canal near our cottage, we got to talking about a story we had heard of a guy who was tied hands and feet on a boat who rolled overboard and swam to shore. John decided that we should try it out.
we tied his hands and feet with rags and he started across the canal, with me beside him for safety backup. He was doing fine until he started to laugh and couldn't swim SO I started to push him, then I started to laugh. Fortunately the water wasn't very deep so I went to the bottom and shoved his along then I came up for air then down and pushed him, all the while we couldn't stop laughing. Needless to say we both survived the trip but we concluded that it was possible to do, just don't laugh while doing it because it would be hard to explain at a Coroner's Inquest.
WE never tried again!!
There were many similer stories on different subjects that were rehashed and best of all, we survived them all.
In any case the evening was great fun and of course we said as always, we should do this more often which of course we won't get around to doing.
WE MUST DO THIS MORE OFTEN!!!!

PC...I was thinking of you while reading about the stupidity. That's really scary. I just can't believe somebody would try somethin so dumb.
Did they remind you of any stories you haven't told me about for my book yet?
This stuff better be written down.
What a laugh that one was.
